About me
I am an executive and leadership coach who empowers high-achieving professionals to discover their superpowers, love their work, lead with confidence, and achieve the life of well-being they deserve. I also help organizations support their staff to do the same.
Helping people discover and activate their superpowers is what I do. With superpowers, anyone can have greater impact in their careers but also lead a more fulfilling life. My unique ability lies in seeing the strengths and talents in others that they might not recognize in themselves. This is at the core of who I am as a coach.
I live in Salt Lake City, Utah, with my daughter Eleanor and husband Dave we explore the desert, mountains, and other beautiful Western landscapes.

What is TIME FOR well-being?
I have 25 years of experience working for environmental nonprofit organizations in various roles such as Executive Director, campaign leader, law and policy expert, and program director. I have worked for grassroots organizations, as well as state, regional, national, and international organizations including the Natural Resources Defense Council, National Parks Conservation Association, American Rivers, the Pembina Institute, and the Waterkeeper Alliance. I have worked on campaigns to protect the climate, advance land protection, conserve forests, and clean air and water. I am a trained lawyer with expertise in policy, campaigning, fundraising, and people management.
In 2017, after already two decades in the environmental professional space, I decided to launch a side hustle to provide professional coaching. From there, the business grew, and grew, and grew.
I’ve provided coaching to hundreds of people in virtually every sector you could imagine: small business owners, financial professionals, and university professors. But mostly I’ve coached mid-career professionals working in the mission-driven sector working to make the world a better place.
Along the way, I gained several certifications:
Associated Certified Coach, International Coaching Federation
DISC Assessment Certification, Assessments 24x7
Gallup-trained Strength Coach
Certified Wayfinder Life Coach, Martha Beck
While building my coaching business, I've also stayed true to my passion of protecting the environment. As a trained lawyer, I provide law and policy advice to environmental organizations on various issues, including climate, fossil fuels, forests, water, and mining. I straddle two worlds - one as a campaign leader and policy expert working to advance environmental goals, and the other as a coach supporting professionals in the green and mission-driven sector. I understand the challenges of working for environmental and social change and am committed to helping people in this sector grow personally and professionally.
Yes! While I come from the environmental space, I work with anyone and everyone in the mission-driven sector. This includes those who are working in the social sector working on critical issues like poverty, justice, health, and education. It also includes people who are looking to enter this sector.
Because after all, we don’t just want a healthy planet, we want a healthy society.
In 2023, I launched time4wellbeing.com (briefly called mygreenwellbeing.com) to reflect my longstanding commitment and care for the people who work in the environmental sector. My website aims to serve and support those working to save the planet with great information, useful tools, and hopefully some wise advice to adopt a life of well-being. I believe that in order to achieve their full potential, people need to be able to use their natural talents and gifts every day, deliver their core purpose, and embrace a life of well-being.
Well-being can be described as judging life positively and feeling good, but it goes beyond self-care. It is about nurturing and growing the physical, emotional, social, spiritual, and intellectual aspects of life. I take a holistic approach that I aim to apply in my own life and how I meet my clients. I have experience in the environmental sector and I use a number of tools to help my clients achieve their goals.
It is important to recognize that without the environmental sector and their fierce determination, we won't save the planet. Their work is critical, and they face difficult challenges every day. But this work isn't all doom and gloom. People in this sector can wake up every day feeling inspired and fulfilled. I want to support them in their work by providing resources that can help them achieve balance and well-being in their lives.
In short, time4wellbeing.com is a free resource that aims to help individuals in the mission-driven sector, particularly those working in the environmental sector, to achieve their full potential while also embracing a life of well-being. The site provides tools, information, and advice that can help individuals thrive in their personal and professional lives. I believe that by investing in themselves, people can achieve high impact and create positive change in the world.
What else do you need to know about me?
I live in Salt Lake City, Utah with my husband Dave and daughter Eleanor. We love to explore the outdoors whenever we can whether its hiking, biking, camping, or paddling.
I am here to be closer to my family and especially my mothers who needs greater support later in her life. And I am taking the time while I’m here to explore the incredible western environment I live in.
I love reading all sorts of books whether on self-development, leadership, or a great fiction novel that takes me away to other places.
I thrive when I am truly connecting to people even if they are total strangers. I’m bored by small talk and really want to know what’s really going on with people when they are soaring or plummeting.
I’m interested more in what we all have in common. Having lived in conservative places like Tennessee, Alberta, and Utah, I’ve found there is are a lot of values we humans share that reflect our collective caring for one another and the planet.
